About
Connect and Awaken
It’s tough to deny that we live in an era where stress is rampant. Our modern lifestyles are tough to sustain, and they can result in concerns such as social isolation, a lack of family structure, a reliance on technology, inadequate food selections, and general exhaustion. Living in this state causes stress as a normal reaction. When the stress cycle becomes chronic, we find ourselves surviving rather than thriving. To get through our days, we rely on the adrenaline reaction, often known as fight-flight-freeze, which puts a strain on our hormonal bodies and digestive systems.
These issues affect us all. Women are twice as likely as males to experience serious depression, according to studies, and the vast majority of them are taking psychiatric medicine, including antidepressants. Irritable bowel syndrome, PCOS, thyroid problems, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, depression, leaky gut, hormonal imbalance, and post-traumatic stress disorder are among the illnesses that result.
I believe that if we can re-establish safety in our bodies and brains through self-care, we will see a decrease in disorder rates. I believe we may better serve ourselves and our relationships by changing our attitudes around digestion and stress. Yoga and Sound Meditation, in my opinion, are a great discipline that can teach us the value of self-care as a preventative step. I think that with the right education and direction, you can take charge of your own health. I believe that everyone has the ability to cure themselves.
